Fasken advises and represents clients in cross-border matters throughout the Americas. We work with Canadian companies doing business abroad and U.S. and Latin American companies doing business in Canada. We have also acted as global coordinating counsel on multijurisdictional M&A and financing transactions.

Our clients range from established multinational corporations to start-ups interested in attracting foreign investment or expanding to new markets.

Chambers Global, IJ Global Americas, iamPatent 1000, Who’s Who Legal and other respected international publications consistently recognize our practitioners as global leaders.

Fasken advises clients and works with professionals throughout the Americas in all types of commercial transactions, disputes, CSR and indigenous peoples matters. Canada has seven free trade agreements in the region; our team is proficient in regional regulations and bilateral treaties, with many of us having held key positions on treaty negotiation teams and committees.

If disputes arise, we represent clients before the International Chamber of Commerce (ICC)'s International Court of Arbitration, American Arbitration Association (AAA), International Centre for Settlement of Investment Disputes (ICSID) and the United Nations Commission on International Trade Law (UNCITRAL).
